Head of Technical Services

Your Tasks Job Objective Manage the activities of the Technical Services department to achieve KPIs. Implement the HELLA leadership model across all dimensions. Duties and Responsibilities Technical Services Management Organize short-, mid-, and long-term planning for Technical Services, including staffing, budgeting, employee development, and technological upgrades. Supervise methods, processes, and manufacturing techniques in cooperation with stakeholders. Support ongoing operations and optimize processes with technical expertise. Monitor market trends and technological advancements to keep services, processes, and resources current. Ensure equipment and resources are maintained and repaired cost-effectively and on schedule. Coordinate capital investments and planning. Design and optimize the creation and commissioning of materials and resources considering available technical and human resources. Leadership Deploy employees according to their qualifications within the organizational structure. Guide, instruct, and support employees to meet targets and foster motivation. Handle hiring, team performance, evaluation, and qualification development. Manage team targets and delegation to develop potential and promote competencies. Your Qualifications The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of core specialties within Technical Services to lead and coordinate technical functions aligned with operational and business objectives. Requisites Experience in mold workshop operations, expertise in plastic injection molding, and background in automation/industrialization projects and infrastructure management. Advanced English skills: fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in technical and industrial contexts. Expertise in specialized lighting technologies and knowledge of advanced systems in industrial environments.
