Group Sales Leader This role oversees the group sales function, leading a team to optimize revenue and drive hotel performance in the market. Direct and manage all group sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop strategic sales plans and implement tactics to increase direct revenue. Responsibilities: Lead the recruitment, training, and coaching of group sales staff to ensure effective execution of sales strategies. Ensure compliance with employment and civil rights laws within the department. Conduct regular business review meetings, strategic sales meetings, and other meetings as required. Supervise the Sales Department to ensure timely completion of activities and adherence to company policies. Coordinate group bookings to maximize profits and monitor top accounts to evaluate trends and ensure accountability. Develop and administer training programs in the Sales department and conduct weekly sales meetings and daily line-ups. Requirements: 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the hospitality sector. A degree in Business or a related field. A strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and market share growth. Deep knowledge of hotel sales strategies and market trends. Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Experience across multiple brands and regional markets (highly preferred). A passion for people development, innovation, and partnerships.
