Gerente de Materiales

Materials Manager is on charge to oversee the company's inventory and shipments. Is responsible for receiving all materials incoming from the different sources, store all the materials and maintain them on their best shapes to ensure always its integrity. Also, must lead his team to comply with the expire dates, ESD and MSD requirements. Materials Manager is responsible to fulfill the Finance's requirements about the inventory veracity, thru the best practices on storing, house keeping and cycle counts. Responsibilities: 1. Inspect and receive all the materials incoming, within the established goals on system. 2. Store the materials on their warehouses. 3. Fulfill the ESD, MSD and expire dates requirements always. 4. Ensure inventory accuracy to fulfill the Finance's requirements. 5. Oversee the materials on excess and obsoletes. 6. Creation of supermarkets, best practices on picking and material preparation, implementation of KPIs to ensure always the lowest picking cycle time possible. 7. Pick and deliver on time all the kits needed on Production. 8. Work with the different teams on the company to ensure the kits delivered to Production are always on their best shape, integrity and on the time needed by Production. 9. Work with Purchasing, Quality and Planning to fulfill the SO of materials requested by the customer. 10. Direct the Shipping crew to fulfill the shipment plan established during the BPR. 11. Lead the Material's team to comply always with the Neo's needs about materials. 12. Identify opportunities to reduce Materials operations costs. 13. Work with QA and HR to keep the training and develop to Materials crew. 14. Keep third party WH on the lowest level possible at the lowest cost possible. 15. Kanban system knowledge and process of continuous improvement 16. experience on cost reduction using initiatives of six sigma and TPS ( Toyota production system) 17. Cycle counts process knowledge to apply on Inventory Warehouse 18. Very understand supply material routines to delivery material to production lines. 19. Very good experience on material in process reduction. Required Experience Excellent academic background educated to a minimum of level Bachelor degree Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. APICS certifications desired. Five years minimum experience on Supply Chain or Materials environment
