Senior Financial Analyst

Job Type / Role: FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst Industry: Manufacturing & Supply Chain About the Role Our client is looking for an Operations Financial Analyst to support operations, finance, and other senior management team members in driving key strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing financial data for management and managing periodic reporting processes. This is a critical and highly visible finance position that provides financial consultation and leadership to key managers. Reporting to the VP of Finance with a dotted line to Operations, this role requires a collaborative cross-functional effort to drive key projects, ability to multi-task, and efficient financial planning and analysis that supports strategic business decisions. Ideally, the candidate has prior experience in a similar role in a global, multi-site manufacturing company. The role operates in a lean, results-oriented environment. Responsibilities Support senior executives with key strategic initiatives and analysis specific to Monster’s dynamic manufacturing operations Analyze and interpret complex managerial financial information, identify trends, variances, and key issues, and provide recommendations Provide financial support to Operations and partner with plant leaders to monitor detailed financial results Educate and train plant leaders on key financial matters to drive execution and performance Create and produce management and executive reporting including budgeting, plant P&Ls, capital planning, inventory analysis, and CAPEX Deliver high value-added financial analyses for operations leadership to drive strategic planning and decision-making Enhance profitability awareness across manufacturing network Prepare presentations summarizing key findings of analyses and projects Prepare detailed rolling quarterly and annual forecasts with input from key stakeholders and communicate implications to senior management Support operations leadership in development and maintenance of KPIs Lead ad-hoc projects focused on reducing costs and driving operational efficiencies Identify areas for improvement in processes and reporting Conform with all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions Partner with accounting and operations to assess working capital and enhance inventory control Qualifications Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in financial planning & reporting Fluency in English and Spanish required Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment or operations finance strongly preferred Travel required across locations Strong understanding of operational metrics, manufacturing variances, and inventory accounting Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to manage and analyze large datasets, comfortable navigating ERP, BI, and other financial systems Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams, understand operational workflows, and influence decision-making Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, excellent organizational ability Embraces continuous improvement and a growth mindset Pro5 is a global platform helping thousands of vetted professionals get hired by top employers.
