Senior Quality Assurance Professional

Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Professional ">We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Professional to lead our client's plant-level quality efforts and ensure their manufacturing operations continue to meet the highest standards of product integrity and customer satisfaction. This position plays a key role in overseeing our client's Quality Management System and works closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support both preventive and corrective actions. What You'll Do: Develop and manage a team of quality professionals, including engineers, technicians, and inspectors, to achieve exceptional quality performance. Oversight of day-to-day quality operations, including inspections, audits, and product evaluations, to maintain regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System to meet internal, customer, and certification requirements (e.g., ISO 9001). Management of internal and external audits, customer complaints, and root cause investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Analysis of quality metrics, identification of trends, and implementation of improvements to reduce defects and drive operational excellence. Collaboration with production and engineering teams to support new product launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Direct interaction with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive long-term improvements. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. 10+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of quality tools and processes, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis. Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with both internal teams and external customers/suppliers. Certification such as CQE or Six Sigma is a plus.
