Operations Planning Specialist

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating production planning, order management, and production control activities while supporting both internal and external teams in escalations and improvement initiatives. As an Operations Planning Specialist, you will act as the customer interface for escalations, priorities, and commitments related to the PP/OM departments. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support production planning, order management, and production control staff in daily activities and their interactions with internal and external teams. Monitor the daily publishing of commitments (incoming/shuttle) to internal and external teams according to personnel and infrastructure capacity, as well as material availability across all active LOBs. Supervise material availability through constant and positive communication with all SCM-related teams. Coordinate PP/OM/PC personnel in cross-training initiatives and coverage of absences due to vacation or temporary vacancies. Oversee, update, and innovate KPIs and procedural documentation, including design and publishing. Attend meetings as requested with internal and external teams. Provide quick and accurate feedback to customers regarding any escalations. Take a proactive approach to solving daily operational issues. Actively participate in creating and maintaining a positive work environment and improving teamwork across the organization. Facilitate tools and resources for teams to carry out their daily activities effectively. Requirements Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, administration, or a related field.
