Primary Responsibilities: Lead all plant operations including production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, health and safety, among others, and partners with global functions (finance, IT, HR, etc.) to achieve operational excellence and deliver quality products to our customers. Plan strategic guidelines for the proper functioning of the operation, generating action plans and setting goals for the team. Lead the process, proposals and generation of continuous improvement strategy and cost reduction initiatives, deploying the required investment plans and aligning them with the defined growth strategy. Propose CAPEX/OPEX that allow for sustainable business growth focused on improving current plant conditions. Strategically plan the detailed activities of production coordination with key support areas (maintenance, quality, planning, HR, etc.) ensuring execution with the highest possible efficiency in time, cost and quality. Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements and maintain applicable certifications (FDA, CTPAT, ISO, etc.) Implement continuous improvement strategies, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and cost reduction initiatives. Foster an organizational culture focused on safety, talent development, ethical compliance, and operational excellence. Develop and manage the site budget, including capital investments and operating expenses, always seeking the best alternative to generate savings in fixed and variable costs, improve profitability, reduce downtime and increase overall equipment efficiency. Effectively manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet quality, delivery, cost, safety, and organizational climate goals. Ensure the achievement of specific objectives, aligned with global and critical indicators of the plant. Ensure optimal use of materials to achieve maximum possible efficiency in the manufacturing process. Manage the strategy for HSE (health, safety and environmental) aimed to reduce accident rates and foster a culture focused on prevention. Manage the maintenance strategy of machines, services and molds, focused on prioritizing preventive maintenance over corrective maintenance. Coordinate with global and regional corporate teams to ensure strategic alignment and functional support. Manage strategies to ensure timely deliveries to all customers, controlling supply shortages. Collaborate in activities that promote and encourage a culture of quality and safety within the organization. Comply with the sustainability guidelines maintained by the organization. Leadership: establish the team´s vision and goals. Define area objectives that will support the achievement of organizational goals. Manage individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting regular evaluations. Support the development of team sills through the creation of training needs diagnostics (TNA) and follow-up on internal and external training processes. Keep job descriptions and organizational charts for the area up to date. Promote communication spaces to share results and important matters withing the area. Participate in processes that promote integration, motivation and well-being of the work team. Ensure compliance with industry regulatory requirements and maintain applicable certifications (FDA, CTPAT, ISO, etc.) Represent the company before local authorities, clients, auditors, certification bodies, and the community. Revised Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred (MBA or similar). Experience: Minimum 10 years in the maquiladora industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing. Technical Knowledge: Regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, applicable NOMs), quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, external audit leadership. Key Skills: Strategic leadership and business vision, effective communication and negotiation, crisis management and decision-making, results orientation and talent development. Language: Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). Supervises functional managers.
