Procurement Manager

MRO Procurement Leader As a key member of our team, you will lead the purchasing and assist in sourcing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) products and services across the organization. This role combines leadership, technical procurement, and supports Corporate Commodity Initiatives in strategic sourcing activities to drive operational excellence. This position requires strong leadership skills and experience in MRO procurement roles. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of buyers, developing tools, KPIs, and assisting with sourcing strategies to optimize the MRO supply base, mitigate risk, manage inventory, and reduce costs. Responsibilities Purchasing and Sourcing: Lead the purchasing process for MRO products and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Team Management: Oversee a team of buyers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and developing structured training programs for sourcing best practices and ERP tools. KPI Development: Define, track, and review KPIs across MRO spend categories and supplier performance, reporting to management. Supplier Management: Develop long-term relationships with suppliers, execute QBRs, and ensure consistent service levels. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in purchasing efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction, leading response and escalation planning for critical material shortages or emergencies. Requirements: Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles, managing teams in a matrix environment. MRO Procurement: Strong experience in MRO procurement roles, including sourcing, contract management, and inventory control. ERP/MRP Systems: Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and procurement analytics. Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in managing budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and driving margin protection strategies. Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field required.
