Senior Import/Export Specialist

Customs Manager Position We are seeking an experienced Customs Manager to oversee our factory's import and export customs operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring compliance and efficiency in customs procedures, as well as experience with local customs policies such as IMMEX and PROSEC. ">Develop and implement customs strategies to minimize clearance times and costs while maintaining regulatory compliance; Manage the full process of customs declaration, clearance, tax refund, inspection, and documentation; Apply and implement local customs policies, including IMMEX and PROSEC in Mexico; Optimize clearance procedures to reduce time and cost; Maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, brokers, and logistics service providers; Lead the local customs team, standardize internal procedures, and enhance professional capabilities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; Minimum of 5 years' experience in import/export and customs management within manufacturing; In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and hands-on experience with IMMEX and PROSEC processes; Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, capable of working in a multilingual environment; Proficient in customs systems with strong cross-departmental coordination and risk management abilities; Proven team management experience and a track record in process optimization are preferred.
