Sr Material Financial Analyst

Sr Material Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and strategic support within a manufacturing environment, often involving budgeting, cost variance analysis, and reporting to guide financial decision-making Functions Analyze, report, and explain variances in material costs, work orders, and other operational areas. Support the Monthly/ annual Fcst / budget process and long-term financial forecasts, often working closely with the FP&A Manager, Operations and Plant Controllers. Prepare and present detailed financial reports, ad-hoc reports, and performance metrics to management Monitor and control cost variances to help identify areas for cost optimization. Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to predict future financial performance. Perform reconciliations related to material and other financial data. Provide financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making and be involved in the review of projects and proposals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is often preferred. Proven experience in financial analysis, with a focus on cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP financial/data management systems is essential. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present to management Fluent in English and Spanish
