JOB SUMMARY: This position will focus on the launch of new products and large scope changes to existing products by adhering to the product launch process. The Program Manager is responsible for effectively pulling together all business functions to successfully launch and complete projects.Responsible for the cost, schedule and quality performance of programs and projects in support of SRENA business area.Participate in the development of contracts, preparation of proposals, preparation of business and program plans, development Statement’s Work and be responsible for the profit/loss of assigned programs. The program manager will interface with functional managers and team members from all organizations within EPD. Success is dependent upon excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate team members through positive influence. Fulfill toresponsibilities documented itiates continual improvement within IATF 16949 and follows environmental requirements within ISO 14001. To fulfill the roles and responsibilities related to the protection of the environment. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Launch of new Product Development Projects and large scope changes to existing products Project compliance to the applicable development procedures, such as the Product Launch Process and/or SEQS Leading the assigned cross functional team for the assigned project, including Design (ME, EE, SE, SIA, SW), Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality. Meeting financial, quality, and milestone commitments. Scheduling and leading internal and customer meetings Escalating issues to management internally and to the customer externally when additional support is needed to manage project risks Initiate continual improvement within ISO/TS 16949 and follows environmental requirements within ISO 14001. EDUCATION: BS in Engineering is preferred; MBA a plus EXPERIENCE: 8+ years combined engineering, manufacturing, or program management experience in automotive, off-road, or electronics. 3+ years Leadership experience in product development, manufacturing, or program management preferred. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of APQP Good verbal and written communication skills in English Knowledge of typical design and development process, launch processes, and key documents such as BOM, Drawings, DFMEA, Quality Plan, PPAP Financials knowledge as Gross Margins, NRE, Bom Costs, etc… Supplier Change Managment FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Communication Analytical Skills Decision Making Teamwork Leadership Work under pressure TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES PMI certification Microsoft Office SMT, PCBA Plastic molding dessirable
