Job Description We are seeking a skilled mechanical design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering with expertise in machine building, tooling, and automation processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanisms and enclosures that enhance efficiency and productivity in our operation. Responsibilities include: Designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for manufacturing lines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications. Utilizing expertise in machine building and tooling to design and prototype custom equipment and fixtures for automated assembly processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for manufacturing lines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and production managers. Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations of mechanical designs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation equipment and fixtures. Required Skills and Qualifications Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in machine building, tooling, and mechanical design for automation applications. Proficiency in mechanical simulation. Hands-on experience with electronics and sensors used in products. Familiarity with radio frequency technologies including material selection for enclosures.
