Automation Engineer

General Functions include Ability to develop PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) and SCADA systems. Ability to implement industrial networks (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.) and communication protocols. Ability to work with electrical and electronic systems. Problem-solving and data analysis skills. Ability to integrate robotic systems. Responsibilities include Use PLC programming software (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, etc.). Configure and parameterize automation equipment and devices, including human-machine interfaces (HMIs). Design, develop, and plan automation systems to optimize production processes. Select and configure equipment such as PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, actuators, robots, and control systems. Perform process analysis to identify automation opportunities or improvements to existing systems.
