Career Opportunity At TekniPlex Healthcare, we are seeking highly specialized talent to join our team as a Sr Tooling Design Engineer . This is a key role responsible for ensuring technical excellence, process robustness, and compliance with quality standards within a regulated environment. Required Profile General Job Description Coordinates the design, development, and improvement of plastic injection molds, providing technical supervision to a team of engineers. Manages new product introduction (NPI) projects, validates internal and external designs, and collaborates with other areas to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with standards. Maintains technical communication with clients and suppliers, ensuring that molds meet functional, economic, and delivery requirements. Work with customers and suppliers in the design and fabrication phase of the molds. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in design and fabrication of plastic injection molds. Experience in new product launches (NPI). Knowledge, Training and Specific Skills Mastery in CAD software: SolidWorks and AutoCAD Proficiency in MoldFlow management for mold filling analysis Advanced knowledge of machining processes and shop equipment operation (CNC, lathes, milling machines, tool room) Advanced knowledge of mold standardization Budget preparation Project management Communication with clients and suppliers 85% English proficiency (intermediate–advanced level) Technical leadership skills Organizational skills Teamwork Key Responsibilities Design and develop plastic injection molds from conceptual phase through final validation Plan and organize the mold manufacturing process Develop machining designs related to molds for client approval Standardize designs and propose technical improvements to ensure mold functionality and efficiency Review and approve designs from external suppliers Prepare budgets related to mold development and improvement Coordinate design releases in compliance with standards and committed deadlines Work jointly with internal departments to optimize mold design and performance of active production molds Actively participate and lead in new product introduction projects Maintain continuous communication with local and international clients and suppliers to ensure quality and functionality of developed molds Languages 85% English proficiency (intermediate–advanced level) Key Competencies Technical leadership Organizational skills Teamwork Learn More For more information about our company and global impact, please visit:
