Labor Relations Specialist

Serve as a key liaison between our organization and labor union, effectively managing labor relations within a manufacturing setting. Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations, fostering a positive work environment. Key qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Labor Law, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources within an industrial setting, with at least 3 years focused on labor relations and direct union interaction. Competencies: Labor law expertise and its practical application. Union relationship management and collective bargaining processes. Conflict resolution and dispute management. We are seeking a skilled professional who can provide guidance to leaders and managers on labor issues, current legislation, and best practices in labor relations. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Managing the relationship with the union effectively, promoting open dialogue and timely resolution of labor disputes. Actively participating in collective bargaining negotiations, wage reviews, labor agreements, and consultation processes. Additional responsibilities may include: Providing training to leadership teams on labor relations topics, disciplinary processes, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Maintaining updated records of labor relations activities, agreements, minutes, and other relevant documentation. This role requires strong negotiation and conflict management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make assertive decisions. Job requirements include: Native Spanish language proficiency. Intermediate to advanced English language skills (preferred).
