Senior Packaging Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Packaging Engineer. This position involves leading and managing various projects related to packaging equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes but is not limited to: Leading cross-functional teams in design development and implementation of packaging lines and systems Developing and executing CAPEX projects related to manufacturing expansions and equipment reliability Collaborating with suppliers to procure and install new equipment Ensuring compliance with regulatory product quality standards and employee safety Responsible for analyzing and improving packaging assets utilization Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, preferably with a background in packaging machinery and automation systems Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth and development Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple priorities and lead project teams to meet deadlines Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution Develop technical specifications and provide training to staff on new equipment and processes Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Food Safety/Quality Systems experience Knowledge in PLC programming, HMI, and weighing systems Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to think ahead and plan strategically Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
