We are searching for the best talent for CONSTRUCTION SAFETY SUPERVISOR (FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS) Purpose: Leading safety construction at projects, to a moderate size business location, serving as the Safety contact for construction project at the site; or lead construction safety, at a large, complex location or multiple locations. This may include providing management support to EES sites assisting conformation to J&J Worldwide EHS Standards as related to Federal, State and Local regulations. Under general supervision, provide leadership to site project and management for the establishment and maintenance of robust processes to identify, evaluate and control safety construction risks in the workplace. You will be responsible for : Make General Construction Safety Plan project-specific Ensures that Contractors are implementing J&J and Contractors Construction Safety Plan Monitors leading and lagging indicators and escalate them Assures the Contractors safety performance Monitors and agrees corrective actions with Contractors Ensure that corrective action is taken, where appropriate Identify and implements safety initiatives. Discuss project impacts with Project Manager and Safety DRI Cooperate with the project team Participate in joint safety walk-downs Understand the General Construction Safety Plan Liaise with Safety DRI during the works Bilingual 80% Enforce EHS&S laws and regulations Communicates and reports performance against EHS&S goals Follow all company EHS&S policies and other related precautions within the work area Supports PTW system on the execution site / area other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned depending on job assignments Conduct Contractors Safety training Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third-party vendor if applicable. Follow and implement corporate requirements across the project. The Safety Construction Supervisor will be the direct responsible individual for construction safety Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum required University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent and related work experience at Construction projects / construction Safety. 4 to 6 years of experience. Engineering qualifications, with additional safety training or a Safety qualification level Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred or 85% Knowledge of EHS laws and Regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, Mexican Compliance) Permit to work system knowledge preferred 5 years on site construction or similar projects experience Supervised projects of a similar nature, scale, and complexity The Safety Construction Supervisor will be the direct responsible individual for construction safety.
