**Job Posting: International Trade & Energy Law Attorney (China-Mexico Focus)****Position**: International Trade & Energy Law Attorney**Work Type**: Professional Services Contract (Freelance Basis)**Salary**: Starting at **3,000 USD per month** (negotiable based on experience).**About the Role**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Advise on international trade compliance, including export/import processes from **China to Mexican ports** (Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Lázaro Cárdenas).- Manage customs procedures, tariffs, and regulatory requirements in **both China and Mexico**.- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts**:NDAs, Joint Ventures, MOUs, LOIs, Joint Proposals, Supply Agreements**, and more.- Provide legal guidance on **energy sector contracts**, including international energy projects and compliance with Mexico’s Wholesale Energy Market regulations.- Represent clients in negotiations with **Mexican government entities** for energy sector participation.- Ensure compliance with international trade laws (e.g., INCOTERMS, sanctions, export controls).- Resolve cross-border disputes and mitigate legal risks.**Requirements**:- Law degree with active license to practice (Mexico or internationally).- **Minimum 5 years of experience** in international trade law, with a focus on **China-Mexico trade routes** and customs processes.- Proven track record in drafting and reviewing **commercial contracts** (NDAs, MOUs, LOIs, Joint Ventures) and **energy-related agreements**.- Expertise in Mexico’s energy legislation, including experience with **government contracts** for the Wholesale Energy Market.- Familiarity with Mexican customs law and China’s export regulations.- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).- **Preferred**: Proficiency in Spanish and/or Mandarin.**What We Offer**:- Competitive monthly compensation based on expertise.- Flexible, remote work environment with project-based collaboration.- Opportunity to engage in high-stakes international trade and energy projects.- Professional fee payment structure (invoicing required).**How to Apply**:Include a brief summary of your experience with:- Cross-border trade compliance (China-Mexico).- Energy sector contracts in Mexico.- Successful negotiation of government agreements.**Application Deadline**: 07/03/2025Tipo de puesto: Por obra o tiempo determinadoDuración del contrato: 1 mesSueldo: A partir de $50,000.00 al mesPago complementario:- Bono anual- Bono de permanenciaTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Todos los fines de semanaEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Experiência:- diez: 4 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Licencia/Certificación:- Cédula profesional (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 06600, Juárez, CDMXFecha límite para postularse: 07/03/2025Fecha de inicio prevista: 15/03/2025
