**WORK DETAILS**Location: Mexico City - Torre Reforma Latino - Avenida Paseo de la Reforma 296Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PMFull-time position. Our platform enables businesses to accept multiple forms of payment, including digital wallets, credit/debit cards, and ACH transactions. We are seeking to expand our team and are looking for motivated professionals to join us in delivering exceptional services.**POSITION: POS Tech Support Specialist****KEY RESPONSABILITIES****Technical Support & Troubleshooting**- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.- Guide users through basic operations, configuration changes, and software updates.- Translate technical information into user-friendly language for clients.- Document all support interactions and escalate complex issues as needed.- Assist with remote or on-site installations, updates, and optimizations.**Menu Programming & System Configuration**- Configure menus, pricing, discounts, and modifiers based on client requirements.- Customize tax settings, user permissions, reports, and printer configurations.- Test configurations thoroughly before deployment and resolve any issues.**Product Demonstrations & Client Training**- Conduct live or remote demonstrations of POS systems for prospects and clients.- Train restaurant owners, managers, and staff on system functionality and best practices.- Educate users on new features, integrations, and software upgrades.**Other responsibilities**- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant operations and industry tools.- Contribute to support documentation and internal knowledge base.- Collaborate with senior technicians and developers on improving system performance.- Support system migrations and hardware deployments when needed.**REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE**- **Experience with restaurant POS systems** (e.g., Heartland, Toast, NCR, Clover) - **Mandatory**:- **Proficiency in Windows operating systems** (configuration, navigation, troubleshooting) - **Mandatory**:- Familiarity with remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, LogMeIn)- Knowledge of basic IT/network troubleshooting and ticketing systems- Strong problem-solving and communication skills- Excellent customer service attitude and ability to explain technical concepts clearly- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team- **Fluent in English and Spanish** - **Required****ADDITIONNAL PLUS**- Experience in retail or restaurant operations (cashier, manager, etc.)- Basic understanding of networking and hardware installation- Previous exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or integrations (nice to have)**WHY JOIN NETEVIA?**At Netevia, you’ll join a forward-thinking team committed to innovation, integrity, and client satisfaction.
