The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Lead a team dedicated to making products that empower modern life, advance human progress, and deliver a brighter future through 3M Science. Oversee plant environment, health, safety, regulatory, and security practices that respect our environment, meet regulatory requirements, protect employees, and align with company standards. Drive operational excellence through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, cost, and employee relations. Utilize financial acumen to analyze and understand the financial implications of decisions, making informed choices to maximize profits and minimize losses. Understand and apply technology platform fundamentals, think strategically, and identify opportunities to leverage technology for growth and efficiency. Accelerate value creation for customers through responsive supply chain performance and prompt customer inquiry resolution. Develop strategic plans and budgets to foster continuous improvement using disruptive technology, lean six sigma, and employee engagement programs. Manage inventory and influence supplier performance. Champion inclusive programs and demonstrate behaviors aligned with an ethical and legal work environment. Your Skills and Expertise Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. Ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing or production in various environments. Five (5) years in a plant leadership role. Additional preferred qualifications: Proficiency in English and Spanish, with ability to improve Spanish skills. Proven plant leadership experience. Knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and safety standards. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to anticipate trends, manage change, and implement sustainable improvements. Strategic planning and problem-solving skills. Relationship-building abilities. Degree in sciences or related fields; advanced degrees preferred. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies. Work location: JUAREZ, MEXICO Travel may include up to 10% domestic/international. Relocation assistance may be provided.
