Principal - ETRM Consultant

Overview Infosys Consulting's Oil & Gas Practice is looking for an experienced Energy Trading & Risk Management consultant. The role is for a Principal Business Consultant (ETRM Implementations – Business Analyst).ResponsibilitiesLead pods and teams for Commodity Trading or Risk Management or Logistics for Oil, Gas and Power implementations.Requirements gathering, functional analysis, functional design and end-to-end configuration of product setup in Endur and other large ETRM products for Gas and/or Power.Review existing end-to-end trade lifecycle processes and provide recommendations on process improvements for parts or the whole process.Provide inputs on optimizing product configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and integration needs.Provide advisory services on design, implementation and deployment of custom and vendor CTRM solutions.Maintain in-depth knowledge of Trading, Risk Management and Logistics tools (including third party) and emerging trends.Work across multiple levels and multi-cultural teams.Maintain highly effective communication with client senior management.Respond to RFX from clients and prospects and contribute to the sales process.Basic (Required) QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.Experience in the trading, risk and logistics value chain.At least 7 years of industry work experience with 3 years of experience in comparable consulting services.Worked on at least two end-to-end implementation or upgrade programs of an ETRM product – Endur, Allegro, RightAngle, Commodity XL, Eka Solutions, etc.Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.Preferred QualificationsAt least 4 years of hands-on experience in Commodity Trading, Risk and Logistics business in large enterprise environments.Experience in Front, Middle or Back Office functions with specialties in Trading (paper, physical), Risk (Market, Credit, Operational, Compliance, etc.), Logistics (Pipeline, Vessel, Nomination through Demurrage, etc.) or Settlements (AR/AP Process, Invoice Management, etc.).Experience in working with business users in capturing requirements and designing solution options.Understanding of and/or experience with common industry products such as OpenLink Endur, Openlink RightAngle, TriplePoint CXL, Allegro, etc., and their implementation challenges and risks.Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team with flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.Ability to interact at all levels of clients’ organizations.Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and to build strong relationships with clients.About Us Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
