Computer Aided Design Drafter

Job Title: CAD DesignerLocation: Guadalajara, MexicoDuration: Long TermJob description:We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to support the development of AMZL delivery stations, including but not limited to SSD, RSR, NASC, Grocery by creating detailed module drawings and building area layouts. This role is critical in translating engineering requirements into precise interior CAD designs that incorporate material handling equipment, work areas, and other key components.Key Responsibilities:- Design Development: Create detailed CAD drawings of delivery station layouts, including equipment, workspaces, and infrastructure, based on current standards and future design initiatives. - Collaboration: Work closely with Design Engineers, fellow CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver complete and approved design sets. - Stakeholder Engagement: Review and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans to address design-related inquiries. - Quality Assurance: Support the design quality control process by participating in peer reviews, following design checklists and standards, and incorporating feedback from Design Engineers to ensure zero-defect outputs. - Project Execution: Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity at delivery stations. - Process Improvement: Implement new design templates, safety protocols, and process improvements into standard design practices.Experience:- 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience (preferably version 2018 or later) - 3+ years of project coordination experience - 3+ years of experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural drafting - Revit experience a bonus
