Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

Description: Supervise to perform duties to assist in the daily activities of the storage area such as shipping, receiving, and the stockroom. Key Accountabilities Receive, count, verify and ensure accuracy of received goods; materials and items such as various metal bar stock, raw steel, flat stock, and components. Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Verifies that materials received are as ordered. Routes incoming items within the company as directed. Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or records. Pick and Stock product orders and accurately perform ERP system transactions Perform Cycle Counts on a daily basis Perform Parts protection/Material handling tasks Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and overhead crane to move stock or reorganize storage Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading Pick and issue raw material Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment as Warehouse Supervisor. Bachelor's degree . Strong PC skills required Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyers, overhead crane or other handling equipment to move material to and from and within the facility. Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team Good problem solving skills. Resolving most questions and problems and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
