Capital Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned project coordinator to join our team at the Lázaro Cárdenas plant. This critical role plays a key part in overseeing and coordinating capital investment projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams and proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools. They will be responsible for preparing cost estimations, risk assessments, and project milestones for CAPEX planning. Key Responsibilities Coordinate overall control and monitoring of assigned projects across all phases, in accordance with company procedures. Support Project Managers in defining project scope, timelines, budget, resource planning, document control plans, procurement strategies, and regulatory frameworks. Assist in implementing performance indicators to monitor project progress against CAPEX strategies. Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports. Identify deviations and provide timely feedback and potential solutions to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related). Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in capital investment environments. Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools. Effective communication and organizational skills. Soft Skills & Technical Expertise Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proactive and solution-oriented approach. Excellent time management and reporting capabilities. Knowledge of QA/QC principles and ability to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
