Capital Investment Project Manager

Project Coordinator Role ">ArcelorMittal is seeking a highly skilled project coordinator to join our strategic projects department. This position plays a critical role in the supervision and coordination of capital investment projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality excellence. We are part of the world's leading steel and mining company with operations in over 60 countries. Our main facility is located in Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, where we proudly serve as the largest employer in the state. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project activities across all phases, ensuring compliance with company procedures and best practices. Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, and regulatory frameworks. Assist in preparing cost estimates, risk assessments, and project milestones for CAPEX planning. Implement performance indicators to monitor project progress against CAPEX strategies. Generate regular project reports to stakeholders. Identify deviations and provide timely feedback to senior leadership. Contribute to procurement processes, contract management, and change control. Support technical and financial project closure. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, or related). Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in capital investment environments. Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools. Effective communication and organizational skills.
