We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Professional to lead our training area and support the ongoing development of our operations. Job Description: This leadership role is key to ensuring that our training programs are effective, aligned with business goals, and optimize the performance of all employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training, industrial safety, budget management, union relations, and an analytical approach to evaluating the impact of training initiatives. Main Areas of Responsibility: Training Strategy & Leadership : Define and implement the training strategy aligned with business objectives, driving talent development and transformation across the organization. Industrial Safety Training : Oversee and coordinate safety training programs to ensure all employees comply with safety regulations and procedures, aiming to reduce workplace risks and accidents. Union Training : Develop and implement training programs for unionized employees, promoting continuous improvement in their skills and ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment. Audits and Certifications : Manage internal and external audits of training programs and ensure compliance with quality standards and necessary certifications. Budget Management : Oversee the allocation of resources for training, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimizing investment in employee development. Metrics and Impact Analysis : Evaluate the impact of training programs through key metrics, ensuring alignment with performance and talent development goals. Team Management & Cross-Department Collaboration : Lead the training team and work closely with other departments to identify training needs and contribute to organizational performance improvement. Requirements: Education : Bachelor's degree in fields such as Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, or related disciplines. A postgraduate degree in Talent Management or Organizational Development is a plus. Experience : Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within learning and talent development. Skills : Strong leadership and team management capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and results-oriented mindset, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
