The Project Design Director leads the comprehensive development of landscape architecture and design projects, ensuring alignment with the firm’s design vision, quality standards, and strategic objectives. This position is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to execution, with a strong emphasis on landscape-driven design solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the landscape architectural design vision across multiple projects.Define conceptual frameworks, approve design narratives, and ensure coherence with the overall landscape vision of each project.Oversee project planning, schedules, and deliverables to meet quality, creativity, and performance goals.Collaborate with administrative and operations teams to ensure efficiency and alignment with company objectives.Provide mentorship and professional development for project managers, lead landscape architects, and design teams.Manage coordination with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders to guarantee project success.Evaluate design decisions to ensure consistency with budget, sustainability, functionality, and landscape design intent.Ensure all projects reflect innovation, environmental sensitivity, and high-level landscape design standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture with a strong landscape design focus, or related design field.Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture and large-scale landscape design projects.Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex design projects.Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, planting strategies, open space design, ecological systems, and site-sensitive solutions.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Advanced proficiency in design and project management software.Ability to work on-site in Zapopan, Jalisco.Advanced English is a MUST.IMPORTANT NOTEProfiles with a background primarily in construction, site supervision, or urban planning/urbanism will NOT be considered.Only candidates with a strong landscape design background and solid experience in conceptual and schematic landscape design will be reviewed.The role is focused on Landscape Architecture leadership, not urban planning or construction management.Preferred QualificationsPostgraduate studies or specialization in Landscape Architecture.Experience with sustainable, regenerative, and innovative landscape design practices.Familiarity with international project standards and multidisciplinary coordination.Experience in hospitality, mixed-use, residential, or large-scale landscape developments.What We OfferCollaborative and creative work environment.Professional growth and leadership opportunities.Competitive compensation based on experience.Opportunity to work on high-impact, large-scale landscape design projects.
