Electromechanical Technician

Position SummaryThe Electromechanical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment and production lines. This role ensures machinery availability and reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as continuous improvement initiatives, while complying with safety and quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electropneumatic systems.Diagnose and resolve failures in automated equipment and production lines efficiently.Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and diagrams.Prepare technical reports and maintenance records in accordance with company procedures.Implement machinery and process improvements (Poka-yoke, optimizations, TPM activities) to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.Provide basic training and supervision to production operators when required.Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and technical documentation requirements. QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in EngineeringExperience1 to 3 years of experience working with automated equipment or production lines in an industrial environment.Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems under pressure.Clear and accurate technical report writing abilities.Solid technical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic diagrams.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including interaction with production personnel.Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on quality standards and operational excellence.
