More information at Role DescriptionThe Technical Sales Manager for Mexico is a full-time position responsible for supporting both new and existing customers and distributors in the Mexican market through a combination of deep technical expertise and commercial development. The role focuses on driving commercial success by expanding the customer portfolio, technically educating distribution partners, assisting customers with technical trials, and supporting customers with technical, marketing, and product information.Working closely with local distributors and customers, this position plays a key role in identifying growth opportunities, flagship accounts, participating in technical evaluations and testing, and executing initiatives to expand the Company’s presence in Mexico.Key ResponsibilitiesTo dramatically expand the customer base in Mexico with focus on flagship strategically important clients.To provide with technical, information, marketing support of OCSiAl distributors and customers in Mexico.To meet individually assigned quarterly and annual targets according to KPIs.To participate in planning and executing of OCSiAl’s sales targets in Mexico.To proactively look for and manage projects with local flagship accounts.To support customers with all required information and technical guidelines at testing stage during OCSiAl products implementation.To support distributors with technical guidance, product trainings, marketing materials, and market intelligence.To work closely with customers’ technical teams to understand application requirements and support product qualification process.To gain an in-depth understanding of the product, the technology and process, to be able to address the prospective clients’ technical challenges and assist them with their trials of our products leading to final technical and commercial approval.To present company at industrial conferences, expos and other events.Qualifications, skills, experienceCritical to success in this position, the company considers industrial experience, technical education and intellectual flexibility of candidates. Degree: Bachelor’s degree is obligatory in one of the following areas: Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or Material Science. Hands-on experience: Technical background in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in technical sales, R&D, business development, or application support within specialty chemicals, materials, or related industries.Experience of participating in customer trials, product evaluations, or technical testing is mandatory.Skills:Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with customers at all levels – C level, R&D specialists, procurement, small companies, international business, etc.Wide and proven technical backgroundAbility to work independently and as a part of multi-cultural global team.Self-motivation and ability to work under high pressure.Spanish and English (professional level).Readiness to actively travel across Mexico and sometimes internationally.Valid driving license and own transport (as a plus) Proficiency in Account Management and relationship-building with clientsExperience in nanotechnology, materials science, or related industries is a plus
