Industrial Designer

About the Role Develop design proposals for retail spaces for smartphones and other electronic devices, aligned with internal brand guidelines (branding and visual merchandising) and different external channels' requirements. Responsibilities Stands / kiosks / modules Full retail stores Display furniture and fixtures Deliver complete design packages that can be implemented in construction, including: Layout plans 3D renderings Technical drawings (CAD) Material and finish specifications Comprehensive project quotation, aligned with budget targets Identify, select, and build partnerships with capable suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing and high-quality delivery, ensuring an optimal balance between project value and company expenditure Coordinate with regional retail design teams and follow through on project execution; when necessary, support implementation remotely or on-site, to ensure store development and in-store design initiatives are delivered effectively across markets Maintain strong awareness of retail market trends and insights, and proactively adopt innovative design concepts and best practices from industry peers to continuously enhance design solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial space design Intermediate to advanced English (Chinese will be a plus) Experience in electronics or mobile phone retail design, (experience in international or multi-country projects will be a plus) Required Skills Proficiency in design tools such as: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Rhino Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator Ability to drive projects from concept through execution Strong design sensibility and aesthetic judgment, combined with a solid understanding of retail trends and market insights Preferred Skills Strong sense of cost control and budget management Strong negotiation and collaboration skills with suppliers, contractors, and production teams, to balance cost, quality, and timelines Ability to ensure project delivery meets both design and commercial objectives, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and cross-functionally international environment
