Laboratory Technician

REQUIREMENTS Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan. Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager. Work within established knowledge management systems to deliver pre-set outcomes for area of responsibility. Help develop procedures for an area of the organization, and monitor their implementation. Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems. Deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan. REQUIREMENTS University (First degree) Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others Negotiates without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on how to help the organization by obtaining consensus between two or more internal or external parties who may have different interests. Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary. Independently supports business processes with comprehensive understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and standard software packages, while also providing guidance and training to others. Health and Safety Applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to independently manage and apply safe systems of work while providing guidance and training to others. Customer and Market Analysis Conducts research and analyzes data without supervision while providing technical guidance as needed in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.
