Parts Demand Planner Supervisor

Demand Planner – After-Sales Parts Position Objective Ensure the efficient and continuous replenishment of spare parts at Geely Mexico’s Parts Distribution Center (PDC), maintaining optimal stock levels to support dealer service operations. This role acts as the key coordination point between Sales, Logistics, After-Sales, Warranty & Quality, Field Operations, and GAIC (China). The role requires deep expertise in statistical forecasting, predictive planning and seasonality analysis to anticipate demand accurately and translate it into timely, well-structured purchasing decisions on a weekly basis. Key Responsibilities - Execute the weekly PDC replenishment cycle: demand analysis, forecasting and purchase order placement with GAIC and local suppliers. - Build and maintain demand forecasts using statistical and predictive methods, considering vehicle population, service history, failure rates and seasonality. - Model demand seasonality in Mexico (peak service periods, rainy season, holidays and campaigns). - Manage emergency and VOR-related orders impacting service levels and warranty repairs. - Define initial stock models for new vehicle launches. - Align forecasts with Sales (vehicle volume, model mix, promotions) and After-Sales teams (warranty, quality campaigns, field issues). - Monitor and report KPIs: fill rate, stockouts, days of supply, forecast accuracy and obsolescence. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. - 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, parts replenishment or inventory planning within automotive after-sales (OEM, PDC or dealer groups). - Strong knowledge of forecasting methods, seasonality analysis and PDC replenishment logic (min/max, safety stock, reorder points, ABC/XYZ). - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, planning models, dashboards). - Experience benchmarking or working with best practices from major OEMs is a plus. - Advanced English.
