Global Food & Beverage Organization is seeking an Operational Procurement Buyer. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and plays a hands-on role in ensuring smooth purchasing operations. This position is based in Polanco, Mexico City with a hybrid work model (2 days office/3 days home). This position is an entrly level role, for someone initianiting in Procurement roles with more than 1 year of experience. This is not a manager, director or senior role. Key Responsibilities - Execute day-to-day purchasing activities to support business continuity and operational needs. - Liaise with internal teams to understand demand requirements and ensure timely sourcing execution. - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers while ensuring alignment with service expectations and business goals. - Support sourcing initiatives by participating in competitive bidding processes and supplier negotiations. - Follow up on purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate invoicing and delivery compliance. - Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary. - Conduct supplier research and contribute to expanding the vendor base. - Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and standards. - Collaborate with regional and global teams to improve procurement efficiency and processes. Candidate Profile - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering. - Minimum of 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles. - A motivated recent graduate would be great fit - Exposure to working with international stakeholders or markets is a plus. - Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable working in dynamic environments with changing priorities. - Advanced level of English is mandatory. Preferred Skills - Experience in multinational companies or shared service environments. - Familiarity with procurement systems or ERP tools. - Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to optimize processes.
