Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient IT Associate Support Analyst to join our Application Shared Capabilities division within CEVA Mexico, based in Mexico City. This vital role involves contributing to the development, delivery, and upkeep of IT applications, configurations, and solutions that support the ongoing efficiency and success of our business functions. Under the guidance of team leads and managers, the successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the seamless operation and enhancement of IT services, helping to maintain a first-class IT management service across our global operations. Key Responsibilities Support the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Cluster IT in managing projects and portfolios by adhering to defined goals, timelines, and resource constraints, ensuring effective delivery aligned to business needs. Apply established IT methodologies and CEVA standards to define project requirements, conduct feasibility and impact assessments, and complete comprehensive project specifications. Analyse and respond to complex and novel application challenges using professional and methodical troubleshooting tools to determine root causes and implement effective solutions. Develop and document functional requirements, formulate detailed test plans, and address production-related incidents by following structured software development lifecycle processes. Perform run and maintain (R&M) activities on technical and business applications, including installations, tuning, modifications, and data archiving when necessary. Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards, supporting the organisation's adherence to governance as directed. Provide on-call support on a rotational basis to ensure continuous service availability for globally distributed applications. Adapt to flexible work schedules to support various global application environments and time zones. Collaborate closely with CEVA business units, IT teams, and vendor partners to understand, diagnose, and resolve application and service requests effectively. Engage in continuous learning to gain proficiency in complex tools, systems, and emerging technologies relevant to the role. Contribute to application monitoring, tuning, and testing efforts to uphold performance and reliability standards. Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills Education & Qualifications Degree-level education is required, preferably in IT Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience especially within the logistics sector. Possession of ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable, supporting understanding of IT service management principles. Experience Up to 2-3 years of technical experience with a strong emphasis on application support and project delivery. Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to IT service implementations and operational support. Technical Skills & Competencies Proficiency or familiarity with Java/JSP/Python programming languages. Competence in log analysis tools such as Kibana and OpenSearch. Working knowledge of databases like Cassandra/Elassandra and Postgres with a focus on CQL queries. Experience in monitoring and dashboarding platforms like Grafana. Familiarity with containerization concepts such as Kubernetes fundamentals, POD management, and messaging systems including Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) management is highly advantageous. Exposure to SharePoint and ticket/problem management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, OTRS) is desirable. Ability to produce clear and effective technical documentation. Interpersonal & Communication Skills Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritize workloads effectively. Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. Additional Information This role requires flexibility to participate in rotational shift work, including night shifts, to support global application availability. On-call support duties must be fulfilled as part of the team’s commitment to uninterrupted operational support. Why Join Us?
