We are looking for a Design Engineer specializing in the development of automotive body, interior, and safety components to join projects in releases. Main activities: - Design and release of wire harness components like plastic shields/guides, - metal brackets & grommets - Design 3D& Drawing creation in CATIA - Mandate: Knowledge /experience in EDS core standards and process - DFM (Design for manufacturing), including robustness documentation (DFMEA, Boundary Diagram, Clash avoidance, Design Checklist, Design Rules, DVP). - Release activities in TCE - Perform Digital Pre-Assembly (DPA) checks to ensure geometric compatibility in all applicable environments - Manage FDJ First-Frame-Release process and Chance Control Release process; release notice workflows in Tce - Coordinate torque studies for fasteners as required. - Coordinate tooling manufacturing with the assigned supplier to satisfy GPDS requirements, addressing all technical requirements during Q&A rounds to ensure the quality and functionality of the tooling. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position. • CATIA V5 • Experience working under product development processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams tools. • Minimum 70% English (conversational).
