Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Trainee to manage the daily operations and compliance for our team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding documentation with biometric security to complex payroll and social security calculations. Key Responsibilities - Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring 100% compliance with contract signing. - File Management: Maintain and audit physical and digital employee files (Expedientes) to meet Mexican labor law standards and internal audit requirements. - Attendance & Time Tracking: Audit daily attendance. Manage the overtime approval process, ensuring adherence to the law. - Payroll Administration: Calculate monthly payroll - Social Security (IMSS/INFONAVIT): Independently manage the IDSE/SUA systems for employee registrations (Altas), terminations (Bajas), and salary modifications. - Tax Compliance: Assist in the calculation and filing of monthly Income Tax (ISR) withholdings and the State Payroll Tax (ISN). Qualification - Language: Proficient in English with the ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment. - Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in HR operations in Mexico (Retail or F&B industry preferred). - Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Federal Labor Law (LFT) regarding overtime, statutory benefits, and rescission of contracts. - Technical Skills:Hands-on experience with IMSS (IDSE/SUA) and SIPARE; Familiarity with SAT requirements (CFDI 4.0 payroll stamping and CSF verification); Advanced Excel skills (formulas for payroll calculation are a must). - Soft Skills: High integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
