Warranty Specialist-Automotive Industry Objective Drive operational efficiency and financial control across the dealer network by managing the full warranty lifecycle. This role serves as the technical and administrative link between the OEM and dealership network, ensuring accurate claim processing, policy compliance, and technical support aligned with our global standards, protecting brand assets and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Warranty Claim Adjudication & Compliance Review, validate, and process warranty claims submitted by dealers, ensuring full compliance with OEM global policies and procedures. Dealer Network Support Act as a trusted point of contact for dealer warranty teams, providing technical and administrative guidance on coverage decisions and warranty systems. Audit & Risk Management Perform remote and on-site audits of service and warranty files to detect irregularities, mitigate risks, prevent fraud, and ensure correct handling and retention of replaced parts. KPI Monitoring & Reporting Track and analyze warranty KPIs such as Warranty Cost per Unit (CPU), claim rejection rates, and processing lead times. Prepare variance and performance reports for Aftersales leadership. Technical Liaison & Failure Analysis Collaborate with technical and quality teams to identify recurring failures, supporting root cause analysis and cost recovery through accurate defect documentation. Experience & Background 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Warranty Management within an OEM or large dealer group Aftersales operation. Direct exposure to dealer network interaction and day‑to‑day service operations support. Practical experience using Warranty Management Systems (WMS) , DMS platforms, and CRM tools. Participation in technical audits and warranty parts control processes. Technical & Professional Skills Strong understanding of workshop operations and service order workflows. Proven ability to interpret technical manuals, flat rate/labor time guides, and parts catalogs. Solid knowledge of OEM warranty policies and adjudication standards. Analytical mindset to detect claim trends, anomalies, and cost deviations. Advanced Excel skills for analysis, tracking, and reporting. Assertive, professional communication skills for managing rejections and resolving disputes with dealers. Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Automotive technical certifications or Aftersales specialization are a strong plus. Languages English: Advanced / Professional working proficiency (global reporting and technical documentation).
