And now, Hyde is making its big debut in Mexico bringing the music and festival spirit to Mexico City. Job Description What you’ll do... Drive the development and execution of the hotel’s sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, leisure, and group segments to maximize revenue and market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. Lead, coach, and develop the sales team; set clear targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a high-performance, results-driven culture. Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing to align sales initiatives with pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and overall business objectives. Represent Hyde Mexico Reforma at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions, actively promoting the hotel’s unique offering and brand positioning. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and identify new areas of opportunity. Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the General Manager and ownership, ensuring full transparency of performance metrics. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of contracted services and a consistently outstanding guest experience from first enquiry to post-stay follow-up. What we are looking for: Minimum 4 years of progressive sales experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role. Pre-opening experience is a strong plus. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in the corporate, MICE, or leisure segments within the Mexican hospitality market. Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to inspire, motivate and develop a diverse sales team while maintaining a positive and collaborative environment. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients at all levels. Solid understanding of hotel distribution channels, OTAs, GDS, and revenue management principles. Proficiency in hotel PMS, CRM, and sales management tools; experience with Opera or Salesforce is an advantage. Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
