Job Title: Sales ConsultantRole OverviewWe’re hiring a junior sales consultant to help drive revenue for an AI-native platform for deploying and managing AI across business operations. This is not a script-reading role. You are expected to contribute to the solution — not just sell it. You will generate pipeline, run discovery, build tailored demos, close deals, and stay involved through initial implementation. We will train you. This is a high-growth opportunity for the right candidate to learn how AI is actually deployed inside real businesses — not just talked about. You’ll be working on live deals, building solutions, and engaging directly with decision-makers. Core Responsibilities1. Pipeline & ProspectingIdentify and research target accounts (mid-market companies) Execute outbound (email, LinkedIn, calls) Follow up and nurture inbound leads Book and run qualified meetings 2. Discovery & Consultative Selling Lead discovery calls to understand business problems and workflows Identify where AI can create measurable impact (revenue, operations, cost) Ask structured, high-signal questions — not surface-level conversations 3. Demo Development & Delivery Build simple, tailored demos using AI Translate AI capabilities into clear business outcomes Present solutions to non-technical and executive stakeholders 4. Sales Execution & Ownership Run meetings end-to-end (intro → discovery → solution → close) Prepare and deliver proposals Manage pipeline and follow-ups with discipline Close deals Lead the initial post-sale handoff Conduct the first implementation discovery meeting with an implementation engineer Ensure clear translation of business requirements into execution-ready scope What We Mean by “Value-Added Sales”This is not a role for people who just run calls and move deals forward. We expect you to create real value in the sales process: Understand the business problem deeply Identify where AI can drive measurable impact Shape the solution with the customer Build simple demos or workflows tied to real use cases Translate requirements into clear implementation scope Stay accountable through the initial delivery handoff If you’re only comfortable following a script or repeating messaging, this role is not a fit. What Success Looks Like Consistent pipeline generation (outbound + inbound) Strong discovery leading to clear problem definition Demos that map directly to real business use cases Deals progressing and closing Clean handoff from sales → implementation with no loss of context Accurate scoping with minimal rework post-sale Rapid ramp in understanding AI + business applications Who This Is For Early-career with high potential Interested in AI, software, and business operations Comfortable speaking with business leaders Wants to learn real consultative selling Preferred Background (Helpful, Not Required) Business analyst, marketing, or software-related experience Exposure to SaaS or technical products Familiarity with CRM and sales tools Required Traits (Non-Negotiable) Problem solver, not a script runner Able to think in systems and workflows Can translate technical capability into business value Clear, structured communicator High ownership (end-to-end responsibility) Fast learner (AI + business context) High activity + consistency Compensation Base + commission tied to revenue closed Clear path to higher-earning sales roles Blunt Reality This is a demanding role — you will be expected to learn fast and perform You will face rejection daily Most people won’t keep up — the ones who do accelerate quickly Why UsAI is already being adopted inside companies — often without structure, control, or oversight.
