About the role A leading company in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to manage and develop distributor relationships within an assigned territory. This role is critical to ensuring strong commercial execution through distributors, driving sustainable sales growth, and maximizing market presence. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the relationship with assigned distributors to achieve volume, revenue, and coverage objectives. Define and execute joint business plans with distributors, including sales targets, promotional activities, and execution priorities. Ensure effective route-to-market execution through distributor sales teams. Monitor distributor performance, KPIs, inventory levels, and sell-out execution. Conduct regular field visits with distributor sales personnel to coach, guide, and improve execution quality. Negotiate commercial agreements, trade terms, and in-market initiatives within defined guidelines. Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and rotation at point of sale. Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations. Act as the main point of contact between the company and distributor for operational and commercial topics. What we’re looking for Proven experience in field sales or commercial roles with distributor management responsibility . Solid background in FMCG, retail, or consumer products environments. Strong understanding of route-to-market and distributor operations. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance indicators and identify opportunities. High level of autonomy, accountability, and results orientation.
