About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Key Account Manager (Retail) to lead the commercial strategy, growth, and overall relationship management for major retail customers in Mexico—with a strong focus on Costco . This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader with a solid background in Self-Service, Price Clubs, and Home Centers , and deep understanding of the consumer goods sector. The Sr. KAM will be responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring flawless execution across commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, execute, and optimize the commercial strategy for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent growth in sales, profitability, and market share. Manage end-to-end relationships with key retail partners—especially Costco—including negotiations, joint business planning, and in-store execution. Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within Self-Service, Price Club, and Home Center channels. Coordinate with operations, logistics, replenishment, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless account performance. Develop and execute promotional, pricing, and merchandising strategies aligned with corporate guidelines. Leverage customer and internal data (sell-out, inventory, pricing, etc.) to drive insights, forecasts, and decision-making. Lead and develop team members to ensure high performance and collaborative execution. Travel as required within Mexico to oversee operations, customer visits, and key initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Key Account Manager in Retail channels (Self-Service, Price Club, Home Centers). Proven experience managing and growing Costco as a key account (mandatory). Strong background in commercial negotiation, financial analysis, logistics, and strategic planning. Advanced English proficiency. Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with retail customer portals and data analytics tools. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams. Availability to travel within Mexico.
