Sponsorships Development Manager, árbol Media Company Description Árbol Media is a sponsorship sales and property marketing firm using technology to empower our clients to sell more, serve better and win. Role Description The Sponsorships Development Manager role is a full-time position to drive new revenue by selling creative, impactful sponsorships to Mexican and international brands seeking to reach árbol Media's valuable represented properties. The Sponsorship Development Manager is responsible for sponsorships sales nationwide, developing relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets for our properties. Success requires strong sales skills, proven presentation skills, a strategic mindset to craft proposals to fit prospects’ needs and objectives, a collaborative approach, and the ability to craft win-win partnerships. Core Responsibilities: • Prospect, pitch and close new sponsorship deals that achieve annual revenue targets • Develop deep understanding of árbol Media's properties to build sponsorship opportunities • Create tailored sales materials that resonate, articulate benefits, and demonstrate ROI • Proactively identify and pursue brands that align well with árbol Media's fan bases • Negotiate sponsorship contracts in partnership with árbol Media's legal team • Collaborate across departments to build attractive sponsorship packages and drive results • Provide world-class service to sponsors and ensure all contractual deliverables are fulfilled • Forecast pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes • Stay current on industry trends, develop new sponsorship products that meet market needs Qualifications - 5+ years of proven experience in media, advertising and/or sponsorship sales - Fluency in English a must as required by the majority of the work - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Resilient and proactive in the sales process - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Must be process oriented and results driven · Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted client relationships - Ability to build and maintain client relationships - Knowledge of the media and sponsorship industry a big plus - Proven track record of meeting sales targets - Adept and comfortable developing new contacts for sales and marketing purposes - Existing network of contacts at Mexican brands, agencies and media companies - Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills - Passion for sports, entertainment and sales - Bachelor's degree required; Masters or MBA preferred Compensation includes base monthly salary of $38,000 MXN gross, plus a very attractive variable component tied to results.
