Industry: Fintech / Cross-Border Payments Culture: Growth-oriented, client-focused, innovative Location: Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina (Hybrid) Role Summary Velafi is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales - LATAM to lead enterprise and fintech client acquisition across Latin America. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a strong network within fintech and financial institutions, and expertise in cross-border financial infrastructure and compliance-driven sales. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting fintechs and enterprise finance companies. Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. Understand and articulate client needs, delivering customized cross-border payment solutions. Build long-term, consultative relationships with high-value clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution alignment and client success. Attend industry events and maintain visibility within the fintech ecosystem. Track market trends to identify new business opportunities. Requirements 5+ years of enterprise or fintech B2B sales experience. Strong background in cross-border payments, FX, or financial APIs. Proven ability to generate or manage at least $30M USD in Total Payment Volume (TPV) per month . Advanced understanding of AML/compliance (PLD) requirements and risk-based sales in regulated environments. Network within LATAM’s fintech and financial services ecosystem. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese. Key Competencies Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
