ENDEVOR Administrator

Overview: The ENDEVOR Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the ENDEVOR software change management tool within the mainframe environment. This role ensures the integrity, security, and efficiency of software lifecycle processes, supporting development and operations teams in the delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: System Configuration & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of ENDEVOR, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices. Process Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and procedures to streamline software deployment and version control activities. Access Management: Administer user access, roles, and permissions, maintaining compliance with security policies and audit requirements. Incident & Problem Resolution: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for ENDEVOR-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents promptly. Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and deliver training sessions to end-users and technical staff as required. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend enhancements to ENDEVOR processes, tools, and integrations to improve efficiency and reliability. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years of proven experience administering ENDEVOR in a large-scale mainframe environment. Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and mainframe development workflows. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., REXX, CLIST) and JCL. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
