Screenwriter - Short Movie Series Calling Screenwriters & Storytellers – Create a New Short-Form Movie Series JoVE ( ) is looking to expand into a creative space and is looking for Screenwriters to pilot short fiction movie series. This is an opportunity for a screenwriter who enjoys working with bold ideas, short cinematic formats, and visual storytelling. Responsibilities: Write scripts for a pilot 10-episode short-form series , each episode is between 1.5 to 2 minutes . Starting from a blank slate, you will: • Imagine original story ideas and themes • Craft compelling short-form scripts • Shape characters, narrative arcs, and emotional beats • Translate concepts into strong visual storytelling • Work closely with our production team to bring the series to life The format is short, but the ambition is cinematic. Our production team handles the execution — you focus on the story.
