About the job Are you ready to lead impactful projects and mentor engineering teams while building scalable, high-performance systems? At Walmart, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions that support millions of customers and associates worldwide. What will you do? Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of medium to large-scale software projects. Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Guide and mentor small engineering teams, including offshore associates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Provide expert technical guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization. What are we looking for? Tech Stack: Language: Java Framework: Spring Boot Databases: SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4J Caching: Redis CI/CD: Continuous Integration & Deployment APIs & Web Services: Experience building and consuming RESTful services Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field + 5 years of experience, or Master's degree + 4 years of experience in software engineering. Proven experience leading technology projects and mentoring engineers. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Preferred: Experience with infrastructure technologies (e.g., routers, switches, servers). Cisco certification is a plus.
