As the only truly North American railway, we are making big moves! Drawing on our strong foundations and heritage, CPKC moves essential goods across our 20,000-mile network to support economic growth throughout Canada, the US and Mexico. Be a part of history as we connect a continent and create exciting career opportunities across our new transnational network.DescriptionThis position is responsible for the analysis, review, negotiation and elaboration of all kind of Contracts and Agreements.AccountabilitiesPerforms the analysis, review, negotiation and preparation of all types of Contracts and Agreements, including but not limited to: Transportation, Commercial, Services, Financial, Purchase, Leases, Licenses, Non-Disclosure, Government and Tax, among others.Participates in the development, documentation and implementation of commercial, technological, operational, financial, infrastructure, investment and tax projects.Advises all areas of the company in the legal transactions they carry out, and supports them in all contractual matters.Writes all documents in English and Spanish.Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholders.Ideal Candidate QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree of Law from an accredited university or college.Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceContracts, Corporate, Civil and Commerce Law, writing and signature of contracts.English 90%Effective written and spoken communication skills.Postgraduate Studies in Contracts, Corporate, Civil and/or Commerce Law (recomendable)PreferredExcellent academic record.Microsoft Office System Knowledge.Working ConditionsThis position has a regular full-time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
