This role works closely with software, hardware, AI, cloud, and platform partners to accelerate integrations with Hanwha Vision products and ensure those integrations provide value to our customers and are powered by Hanwha Vision´s technologies and platforms.The PDE serves as the primary technical counterpart for partner engineering teams, leading integration activities from technical discovery through design, development, validation, launch, and ongoing maintenance. The role requires a hands-on engineering profile capable of understanding our API/SDK documentation for supporting partners throughout building, debugging and deploying custom integrations across Hanwha Vision´s product lineup. This is a partner-facing engineering role with strong cross-functional interaction across Product Marketing, Engineering, Technical Support, Sales, and external technology partners.Key responsibilitiesPartner Integration Support Lead end-to-end technical engagement for partner integrations, including technical discovery, requirements clarification, architecture guidance, implementation support, validation, launch readiness, and post-launch follow-up. Support new and existing partners in integrating with Hanwha Vision products, platforms, APIs, SDKs, and interoperability frameworks. Provide technical guidance on solution design, architecture decisions, interface behavior, performance expectations, and implementation best practices. Build proofs of concept, demo environments, and validation workflows to confirm technical feasibility and reduce integration risk.Partner Enablement and Technical Documentation Develop and maintain high-quality technical enablement materials for partners, including onboarding guides, integration playbooks, reference architectures, implementation checklists, troubleshooting guides, validation criteria, and technical FAQs. Create reusable assets and reference patterns that improve consistency, reduce repetitive support effort, and shorten partner onboarding time. Contribute to improving the clarity, usability, and completeness of partner-facing documentation.Product and Engineering Feedback Loop Translate partner needs, recurring issues, feature gaps, and technical blockers into clear internal requirements and actionable recommendations. Maintain a structured feedback loop with Product Management and Engineering to improve APIs, SDKs, workflows, interoperability, and partner experience. Identify common integration friction points and propose scalable improvements that can benefit multiple partners rather than solving issues one by one.Key selection criteria Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 3+ years of experience in developer relations, solutions engineering, developer support, or a similar technical role within the physical security, video surveillance, software, AI, cloud, or technology integration industry. Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting or delivering production-grade integrations involving APIs, SDKs, devices, software platforms, or cloud-connected systems. Strong technical understanding of IP video systems, video analytics, AI-enabled video applications, software integrations, and physical security ecosystems. Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, authentication methods, API troubleshooting, integration debugging, and technical documentation. Strong understanding of interoperability concepts, technical standards, and system integration considerations relevant to the electronic security industry. Familiarity with protocols and system interfaces such asRTSP, WebSocket, MQTT, and other device-to-software communication methods as applicable. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across hardware, firmware, software, network, and cloud-connected environments. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both engineering and non-engineering audiences. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.
