**Position: Staff/Senior****The opportunity**:Work as staff/senior on multiple workstreams for middle and back-office functions for an asset management client.Position Responsibilities:- Interact with the pricing vendors to price securities- Communicate daily inquiries to appropriate internal departments- Monitor and data mine the daily pricing for anomalies and potential issues- Perform deep dives on issues related to securities pricing and methodology- Issue price challenges- Interact with Portfolio Managers as an internal consultant- Interact with internal and external audit teams- Audit internal processes, identify and mitigate risks, and develop and enhance controls- Develop reports and presentations for funds, the Boards, Legal, and Portfolio Management- Maintain current knowledge of domestic and foreign securities markets and monitor effects on funds, pricing, and valuation procedures- Manage various projects related to process improvements, procedures, and systems developmentPosition Requirements- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a quantitative field- Minimum 3 years of experience in security valuation and mutual fund operations- Experience working with trading desk and portfolio managers- Market data knowledge from working with providers of financial data, such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Intex, and others- Experience working with business intelligence reporting tools and dashboards, such as PowerBI (preferred) or other platforms- Advanced Excel/VBA, SQL, Python, strongly preferred- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics- CA, CPA or CFA designation- Experience with mutual fund governance and fund boards- Experience working with Business Analysis and Project Management
