Come be a part of this journey!****BAT MEXICO** **IS LOOKING FOR A** PRICING AND PROMOTIONS EXECUTIVE**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Managerial**FUNCTION**: DBS**SALARY RANGE**:Excellent benefits + market leading bonus**LOCATION**:Monterrey, Mexico**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**Work as a business partner for the US RGM Team by providing key commercial insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the financial success and effective prioritisation decisions are made across the value chain.This role, along with RGM Commercial Analytics team, will manage pricing and promotion optimization, leading to account-level analysis, such as predictive analytics and post-implementation results, while working in a cross-functional way with Trade, SP&I Brand Marketing, and Finance. This role will support the RGM Commercial Analytics to coordinate and support analytics projects, ensure activity design aligns with RGM, retailer, and trade marketing strategy, and provide oversight to ensure the quality of execution.The Support will help support the RAI brands and positioning strategies by using big data and sophisticated analytics while collaborating with internal and external team members. Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and improve the return on investment. Develop performance tools and measures to help find opportunities and deliver recommended program optimizations at Retail.**Reports to**:Lead Manager - Retail Planning & Commercial Analytics**Geographic Scope**:USA**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Coordinate the gathering, preparation, validation, cleansing, and integration of different sources of information (Big Data) to generate business insights for the USA Revenue Growth Management team.- Assume a supporting role as part of the analytics team as it applies to data requirements, data validation, schematics quality, and overall merchandising plans for assigned projects.- Analyze data insights and communicate effectively to key stakeholders regardless of geographic and cultural differences.- Establish a deep understanding of pricing and promotion strategies, internal processes, and overall technical requirements.- Work collaboratively with external/internal partners to develop and deploy Revenue Growth Management strategies and tactics for the Tobacco and new categories.- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems, and adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.- Conducts customer analytics as necessary, identifies good practices, and standardizes where possible.- Play an active role as a member of Digital Business Solutions team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills) and work cross-functionally with several departments in execution of tests, rollouts, and resets- Able to optimally operate in a matrix organization with a high level of change and multicultural environment. Moreover, willingness to learn in a fast-paced manner with data management tools.**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**- Do you at least 3 years of professional experience in revenue management, category management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, or sales strategy?- Are you proficient in English?**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- At least 3 years of professional experience, experience +2 in revenue management, category management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning.- Knowledge and experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data.- Experience analysing reports and analytics generated by data science and statistical models and identifying issues, challenges, and opportunities.- Proven communication skills, both oral and written, to have the appropriate level of interaction with stakeholders with required follow-ups.- Able to work with technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, and collaborative filtering.- Proficient in English, written and spoken.- Bachelor's Degree required Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Engineering.**BENEFICIAL**- Programming concepts understanding (Python, R, Alteryx).- Use of Data Visualization Tools and development of dashboards (Tableau, Power BI).- Data Analytics or Big Data certification.- Experience with price related elasticities and profit & loss statements.**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
